After Five Years on the Streets, I Still Believe People Are Good

I'm Mike. Five years ago, a back injury took everything from me my house, my car, all of it. Now I sleep under an overpass with what little I have left.

When someone recently offered to buy me new things, I left my old belongings behind for whoever might need them. I know that sounds crazy when you have nothing, but I still believe in looking out for each other.
