At 88, All I Want Is To Walk Well Again

I just want to walk well again.

I'm Ilene, and at 88 years old, I never imagined I'd be asking strangers for help. But honestly, everything feels like it's falling apart. My mobility has gotten so difficult, and some days I wonder if I'll ever feel steady on my feet again.

When someone stopped to talk with me recently, I shared what's been weighing on my heart. Even though I'm struggling, I still believe in being patient and kind with this world.

Now I'm hoping for a little of that kindness in return.
