I Met Robert After He Lost Everything All He Asked For Was a Sandwich

When I asked Robert what he'd do with a hundred dollars, he didn't ask for cash or anything extravagant. He just wanted a corned beef sandwich and sunscreen to protect himself from the sun.

Robert lost everything in a fire. He can't work right now, yet he stood there under his umbrella with such kindness, telling us to keep helping others. That kind of grace is rare, and it breaks my heart that someone this gentle is sleeping on the streets.
