I met James living in an alleyway, everything he owns packed into a red shopping cart. He lost his apartment trying to protect someone he loved, and now he's trapped in what he calls a system set up for failure.

What struck me most was his humility. When I asked what he needed, he didn't ask for much just a sleeping bag and spaghetti and meatballs. That's all it would take to make his day.
