Nixon and His Loyal Dog Deserve Warmth This Winter

When a stranger stopped and asked what I needed, I didn't think about myself. I just said, Please, make sure my dog has enough to eat. He's my whole world he stays by my side through everything, so he eats first. Always.

A few nights ago, someone took my sleeping bag. Now it's just me and him against the snow with nothing between us and the cold. All I asked for was a pair of socks and a small bag of food for my buddy. That's it.

I'm not asking for much. I just want a real shot a warm, safe place where we can start over together. No more freezing on concrete. No more wondering if we'll make it through the night.
