For over a decade Dexter has survived on the streets of Orlando with nothing but the belongings in his small cart. Despite facing the daily hardships of homelessness for eleven long years he never lost his deep sense of compassion. When a stranger approached him asking for help to find a bus station because he had no money Dexter did not hesitate. Even though he did not have a single penny to his own name he immediately offered his time and energy to walk the stranger safely to his destination.

That beautiful moment of pure selflessness showed the incredible heart Dexter still carries after so much struggle. We want to reward his unwavering kindness by giving him the second chance he truly deserves. The funds raised will go directly toward helping Dexter secure safe housing and the basic necessities he needs to finally leave the streets behind.
