Mahmoud is only three years old, yet he is already facing a long and painful recovery after a car accident changed his life.

In just eleven days, he went through four surgeries. His legs were badly injured, and he now lives with external fixation and daily wound care. He still cannot move his right leg properly, but he continues to smile through it all.
