They Give A Final Farewell To Those Who Have No One

Pradip Kumar and his wife Madhusmita have spent years doing work that takes great strength and compassion. They perform final rites for people whose bodies are left unclaimed, making sure each person receives a farewell with dignity and care.

Pradip began this mission after losing his mother in a train accident. For three days, he searched for her, and when she was finally found, no one wanted to recover her body because of its condition. That pain stayed with him and became the reason he chose to help others who had no one.

For the past 12 years, Pradip has carried this work forward. Six years ago, Madhusmita left her job to join him. Together, they have performed last rites for more than 5000 unclaimed bodies, treating each person as if they were family.

Even a small amount can help keep their ambulance running and provide the resources they need to continue this work. Your support can help them give dignity, respect, and a final farewell to those who would otherwise be forgotten.
