Six Years After Losing Everything, I Still Believe in Tomorrow

I lost both my parents six years ago, and I've been surviving on these streets ever since. Some days, I've had to eat from dumpsters just to make it through. I ended up stranded in this Midwestern city with nowhere to go and no one to turn to.

I get by on whatever spare change kind strangers can offer, but what I really dream about is getting back to Miami a place where I can start fresh and rebuild my life. Recently, someone bought me a burrito, and that simple act of kindness meant the world to me. It reminded me that people still care, and it gave me hope.

That's what keeps me going the belief that tomorrow can be better. I'm working toward getting home to Miami, where I can finally get off the streets and start over. With your support, I can afford a bus ticket and have enough to survive while I rebuild.
