I Walk Every Single Day To Bring Safe Water To My Family But I Cannot Do It Alone

I have one leg, and every day I go out to fetch water because there is no one else to do it. There are days I come back with nothing, or with water I know is not safe. We drink it anyway because thirst does not wait.

Seven people share our single tent, living in a space that was never built to hold this much need. It is a hard reality, but seeing everyone smile when I return with water is the only reason I have not given up. I refuse to stop trying, even when the conditions feel unbearable.
