When I met Trey, my heart broke. He's only 22, pushing everything he owns in a heavy blue recycling bin through the streets. He told me he's just trying to survive, day by day.

Watching his face light up when I gave him a backpack and tent something so small to me, everything to him I realized how desperate his situation really is. We got him out of that bin and into shelter for the night, but one night isn't enough.
