I spend my nights on cold pavement, wrapped in a thin blanket, but I've never lost my belief in helping others. When a stranger asked me for food, I didn't think twice I emptied my small box and gave him everything I had. It felt like the right thing to do.

I've survived being drugged on these streets. I've been turned away by the very systems that should have protected me. Now I have nowhere safe to sleep and no one to turn to.
