You might find me under a bridge scrubbing graffiti off concrete with my bare hands. I don't have a bucket or towel, but I do it anyway because someone should.

I used to have a business built it from nothing so my daughter could have a good life. But when things fell apart, I had to sell everything just to make sure she was taken care of. She deserved better than watching her dad struggle, so I did what I had to do.

Now I spend five hours every day cleaning up our streets. Nobody asks me to. Nobody pays me. I just want to do something good for this world, even when it feels like the world forgot about me.

The other day, someone told me they were late for work. I only have an EBT card to my name, but I offered to walk them to the bus anyway. That's just who I am.
