After 27 Years Homeless, She Asked Only for Prayer

I met Cheyanne on the side of the road, and when I asked what she needed most, she didn't ask for money or shelter. She just said, Prayer.

She's been homeless since she was 15 and 27 years surviving on the streets. At 42, she's hungry, exhausted, and has nowhere safe to sleep tonight. But somehow, her spirit hasn't broken. She still speaks of forgiveness. Still believes in something better.

I gave her a hot meal and promised to pray. But she deserves more than that. She deserves a real chance.
