I Worked Hard Until My Body Gave Out And Now I Need A Hand Up

I spent my life doing things the right way until a major injury on the job changed everything. Surgery and a long recovery took what little I had left and finding work since then has been nearly impossible. Life has thrown a lot at me lately but I am still standing here holding my sign and keeping my faith.

I am not angry or bitter about what happened. I showed up for my job every day until I physically could not anymore and now I am just trying to survive this chapter. I believe there is still a way forward and I am just asking for the help I need to find it.
