I Fed A Stranger While Losing My Own Home

I was days away from eviction when a man knocked on my door, claiming he'd been kicked out. I didn't think twice I offered him what little I had, pomegranates and grapes. I believe that when we feed the poor, we're feeding Him.

When someone recently gave me a choice between a gift for myself or ten gifts for others, I chose others without hesitation. We don't know what the other person is going through, I said. I received an unexpected blessings that day, but eviction is expensive, and I'm still fighting to find stable ground.
