I'm Daisy, and I'm a Type 1 Diabetic. Every three days, I need an insulin pump change that costs $50 without it, I don't survive. You'll find me outside with my bag, selling dollar granola bars because it's what I have to do.

My husband and I just lost our car. I was recently hospitalized for an asthma attack. Our lease wasn't renewed, so we have two months to find housing while catching up on back rent. We're navigating dangerous public transit just to get to work and my medical appointments. My husband finally got a job, but we're drowning in essential costs while trying to stay afloat.
