He Fed His Friends Before Himself Now Let Us Help Them All

Late at night at a local gas station I met Dan as he was filling up heavy jugs of water to take back to his camp. When I asked if he needed anything his immediate response was not about his own needs. Instead he asked if I could get enough cheeseburgers to feed everyone staying out on the dark bike trail. Even while facing the harsh daily realities of living outside Dan put his community first and made sure his neighbors had a hot meal. His selfless spirit in the middle of such a difficult struggle is truly moving.

No one should have to live in a dark ditch or carry heavy buckets of water just to survive the night. Dan has a huge heart and he deserves a safe and warm place to sleep along with the friends he so deeply cares about. We are putting this fund together to help Dan get off the streets and secure stable housing while also providing warm meals and everyday essentials to the other homeless individuals living on the trail. He spent his evening making sure others were cared for and now we have the chance to care for him and his community.
