Helping Strangers While I Miss My Daughter

They found me in a freezing parking lot organizing shopping carts. I wasn't doing it for money I just like to help when I can.

When they offered to buy me whatever I needed, I only asked for one thing, Can I get a phone card? I need to call my daughter. My phone was stolen weeks ago, and not being able to hear her voice has been the hardest part of all this.

I've fallen on hard times and I'm living on the streets right now, but my daughter is everything to me. I just want to get back on my feet so I can keep my promise of being there for her.

I never thought I'd be asking for help, but if you can find it in your heart to support me, I'm trying to get into safe housing and rebuild my life so I can be the father she deserves.
