After 59 Years of Hard Work, Harry Shouldn't Be Fighting to Survive

I met Harry recently, and his story shook me. This man worked for 59 years took care of himself his entire life only to end up with nothing. He finally got housing six months ago, but instead of being his fresh start, it left him completely broke and back to square one.

Here's what got me, when I offered help, Harry tried to turn it down. His dignity means everything to him. He's not asking for pity or handouts he just wants a fair shot to get back on his feet after the system let him down.
