I never chose this life, it chose me.

When my grandmother moved into a care facility, I had nowhere to go. I pitched a tent and tried to make it work, but then one night, someone set it on fire while I was sleeping inside.

I barely made it out. Everything I owned gone.

Now I'm facing freezing nights in the snow with nothing. I'm only 21, but I already understand what it means to fight just to survive another day.
