I already have God, and that's enough for me.

I've been living outside in the freezing cold, but when someone offered me a trip to the store, I didn't grab anything for myself. I got propane and lighters so my camp could stay warm, and nails for my buddy who builds shelters. My people come first.

I lost years of my life to a wrongful conviction. There was a time that weight nearly broke me for good. But I'm still here, and now I'm grateful for things most people walk right past fresh air, a stranger's smile.

I've spent my whole life taking care of others. I'm not the type to ask for help, but I could really use someone in my corner for once.
