A month ago, I was hit by a truck. Since then, I've been carrying this injury while living on the streets, where I've even been assaulted just for being homeless.

Recently, someone offered to buy me anything from the store. My first thought wasn't about my injury or what I needed it was getting a backpack for a friend. All I've ever asked for is to be looked in the eye and treated like a human being.
