A Warm Sweater Changed My Day I'm Still Fighting for My Future

I wasn't expecting anything. I was just trying to get through the cold.

My name is Marcus. I was standing on that corner in worn out shoes and thin clothes, keeping my head down, not asking for anything. Then someone stopped. They offered me a warm sweater, a couple pairs of jeans, and a fresh pair of boots. When I held those shoes, I couldn't hide my smile. I gave them a hug before they walked away it was the least I could do.

I don't have much right now. But I still have my dignity, and I'm not giving that up.

What I need is a real chance a safe place to sleep, a hot meal, and the basics to help me find my footing again. That's it.
