When they found me, I was limping down the street with a busted knee and a guitar held together by hope. But when I sat down to play them a song, I forgot about the pain for a minute. Music does that for me.

I've been without a phone for months. Most people don't think about how much that takes from you I can't call a doctor, can't schedule the surgeries I need, can't even tell someone where I am. They bought me a new guitar, a meal, a phone with a solar charger, and I won't lie, I broke down. Not because of the things, but because somebody stopped and actually saw me.

But I'm still out here. I need a safe place to stay so I can get these surgeries done and actually recover not on concrete, not in the cold. I can't heal if I don't have that.
