I'm Patrick, and I'm a street drummer but I don't play for pity. I play to bring a smile to your face. Every day, I sit on the sidewalk with my Home Depot bucket, pouring my heart into creating a moment of joy for anyone who passes by.

For the past month, I've been sleeping in the park, barely scraping by. But I've never asked for handouts my only goal has been to share my rhythm and my spirit with the world. Recently, when someone showed me an unexpected kindness, I broke down in tears. That moment showed me how desperate things have gotten, and how much a real chance at a fresh start would mean.

I promised myself I won't give up. But I can't do this alone anymore.
