I am an elderly Puerto Rican woman and a mother to six beautiful children. Over the years I have faced the unimaginable heartbreak of losing two of my precious kids. Now in the later years of my life when I hoped to be resting I find myself standing on the street without a safe place to call home.

Navigating life without shelter at my age is incredibly draining both physically and emotionally. Despite the heavy storms I have weathered I am doing my best to hold onto my dignity. I am simply hoping for a little bit of comfort and a secure place to rest my head.

Surviving the streets takes a heavy toll especially at my age. Any help you can offer will go straight toward getting me into safe housing and providing the meals I need. I appreciate your generosity and the chance to spend my later years in safety.
