He Shouldn't Have to Get Used to the Cold

When we found him, he was standing in the snow with nothing on his feet. Someone had stolen his only pair of shoes during the night.

He told us he tries to stay positive that he's used to the cold. But then he stopped himself. No one should ever have to get used to that kind of pain.

He's not asking for sympathy. Just to be treated like a person.

Someone got him a pair of boots that day, and he was genuinely grateful. But boots alone won't get him through this winter. He needs a safe place to sleep where he's not worrying about his safety every single night.
