After 43 Years of Service, Help Me See Clearly Again

I'm Sercio, and for 43 years I've been shining shoes in my community. When someone recently asked what I'd charge to clean their sandals, I told them, A kiss... one kiss because to me, it was nothing. I've never asked for much, just enough to keep the lights on.

But now my vision is failing in one eye, making it harder to do the work I love. More than anything, I dream of getting new glasses and the dental care I've put off for too long so I can keep serving with dignity and share my smile without shame.
