A Heart of Gold, Even in the Cold

When they found me, I was shivering under a Spider-Man blanket beside a dumpster in the freezing snow. When they asked what would make me happy, I didn't ask for anything for myself I just wanted to hold an animal and feel a moment of comfort. That small kindness meant everything.

When I got the chance to pick out supplies, I made sure to grab some candy for my girlfriend. She's been through this with me, and I wanted to take care of her too.

Right now, I'm getting through the nights with bottles of rubbing alcohol just to stay warm. I don't want much just a safe place to call home.
