I sell flowers outside the children's hospital, trying desperately to cover my son Victor's medical costs. While others prepare for the holidays, I have one heartbreaking wish, for Victor, who has cancer, to be well enough to eat and speak again.

My brave boy can only communicate through a writing board now. When I asked him his Christmas dream, he wrote words that shattered me, What I want the most is to be healthy and to be able to live life.
