I Gave Up Everything for My Family

I walked barefoot on scorching pavement because my girlfriend needed shoes more than I did. When my mom passed away, I chose to become homeless so my stepfather and little sister wouldn't lose their home. I've always put my family first, even when it meant I had nothing left for myself.

Some kind people recently got me shoes, a shirt, and small gifts for my girlfriend and it meant everything. But I'm still fighting to get back on my feet. I want to rebuild my life and keep supporting my family with dignity, but I can't do it alone.
