A Woman Who Gives When She Has Almost Nothing

I met Shereta while she was shopping for her daughter's Easter basket. When I asked if she could spare a few dollars to help me complete my purchase, she didn't hesitate she opened her purse and gave me what little she had.

What I didn't know then was that Shereta was behind on her rent. That money she gave me? She needed it desperately. But she chose kindness anyway.

Shereta is about to turn 75, and she's spent her whole life being kind even when I had almost nothing left to give, as she told me. Now it's our turn to give back to her.
