I'm Hanging In There, But I Could Really Use Your Help

I try to stay positive even when life keeps knocking me down. Right now, I'm recovering from a scooter accident on my way home from work that left me with two broken ribs and one shattered. Breathing hurts, but when someone asked what I needed today, all I could think to ask for was a sandwich and something to drink.

I'm working hard to get by, but healing from this injury while living on the street feels impossible. I shouldn't have to choose between getting better and eating, but that's where I'm at.
