I was sitting there in the snow, holding my wedding ring the only thing I have left that matters. I'd already lost people this winter to the cold. Friends. Good people. And I thought, if selling this ring means keeping everyone else warm, then that's what I have to do.

I know what you're thinking it's just propane, just survival. But when you've lost as much as we have, you realize memories are all we've got. And I was ready to let mine go.

Nobody should have to make that choice. Between what we've lost and staying alive. Between the past and tomorrow.
