When I met Michael, he was standing in the freezing cold with his beautiful white dog, polite and humble. When I offered him a warm meal, he only asked for some chicken strips. That quiet moment told me everything about who this man is.

Michael isn't just surviving out here for himself. He's protecting his partner and his loyal dog with almost nothing. When I handed him a basic tent, warm socks, and sleeping bags, the gratitude on his face stopped me in my tracks. No one should be that thankful for the bare minimum.
